The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn

2/7/13: UPDATE: To Our Blue Vipers guests,
Unfortunately due to the impending storm we have decided to postpone the show, as to ensure the safety of both our guests who are traveling from all over, as well as the band who would be traveling from Brooklyn N.Y. I will be in touch early next week to refund all of our guests their complete ticket purchases. We look forward to seeing you in the future for The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn. The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn are an early jazz, swing, and blues band, composed of acoustic guitar/vocals, upright bass, homemade washboard percussion, trumpet and saxophone. Their repertoire or witty songs from the 1920’s and 30’s is augmented by original tunes with moving yet often bawdy lyrics and catchy 4 part vocal harmony.

Showtime is 8:00 pm. seating opens at 6:00 pm for wine and casual fare from FarmTable. FarmTable menu includes Artisan Cheese Platters, Homemade Sandwich Plates, Signature Salads, Daily Specials and Sweets. (Order & Pick Up at the FarmTable counter prior to the concert.)

Living The Dream

Living the Dream Band has been in existence for 2 years. The product of an idea which had been in the making for several years. Initially we started as a Sinatra/Standards Band. Since then, we have evolved to not only include our initial mix of songs, but also an eclectic mix of 60's and 70's tunes as well. We have developed a style all of our own, which makes us different from other bands. In one evening you may hear "One for my Baby" and "You've lost that Lovin' Feelin" along with many others.

What also makes us unique, is our personnel of musicians. Gary Patricelli(Vocals), Sue Ellen Miller (Piano and Vocals), Wayne Miller(Bass), Dave McGraw(Drums), and Ron Taglarino(Sax). When we are all together, the creative energy flows! We especially enjoy being in front of an audience, watching the smiles on their faces, as they sing along with favorite tunes from the past.

First Call

First Call is about smooth jazz and more – an eclectic mix of jazz influenced tunes from the Great American Songbook, classic R&B, Latin jazz and swing – music that is both sophisticated and listenable.
First Call is a duo – Saxophone master and electronic music producer Richie Kraus and Christine Kephart, dynamic vocalist and classically trained flutist. But First Call is a lot more than just two musicians. The duo’s arrangements are rich and solid, enhanced with studio-produced tracks that give it the sound of a full ensemble.  First Call has been performing for public and private events in the NY-NJ area for the past decade. Enjoy!
