 Laurita Winery welcomes talented singers to our “American Idol Contest – Laurita Winery Style.” The top prize is $1,000.00 and attractive 2nd and 3rd prizes will also be offered.
During the open auditions, each contestant will perform one musical piece.

Ben Weiner, Singer & Guitarist

Ben Weiner plays acoustic guitar and sings songs from the 60's to popular songs of today. Ben’s repertoire includes artists like Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, CSNY, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, Harry Chapin, The Plain White T's, Michael Buble, Eric Clapton and much more. Ben performs every Friday evening at La Cipollina in Freehold and plays at many private functions as well. Ben has been a favorite here at Laurita, and, if you haven't had a chance to hear him or meet him, please come out for a day filled with fun, great people and some enjoyable music. Laurita guests are sure to be pleased!
Living The Dream

Living the Dream Band has been in existence for over 2 years. The product of an idea which had been in the making for several years. Initially we started as a Sinatra/Standards Band. Since then, we have evolved to not only include our initial mix of songs, but also an eclectic mix of 60's and  70's tunes as well. We have developed a style all of our own, which makes us different from other bands. In one evening you may hear "One for my Baby" and "You've lost that Lovin' Feelin" along with many others.
What also makes us unique, is our personnel of musicians. Gary Patricelli(Vocals), Sue Ellen Miller (Piano and Vocals), Wayne Miller(Bass), Dave McGraw(Drums), and Ron Taglarino(Sax). When we are all together, the creative energy flows! We especially enjoy being in front of an audience, watching the smiles on their faces, as they sing along with favorite tunes from the past.

Laurita Winery will be a participant in the 2013 Garden State Wine Growers Association’s third annual Spring Fever Wine & Food Tasting. To be held at the elegant Branches in West Long Branch on Sunday, April 7 from noon to 5 p.m. In addition to sampling wines, attendees will be able to purchase wine by the bottle and case. Once inside attendees receive a printed menu showcasing each winery and the wines they will be sampling. Attendees can spend as much time as they want visiting each winery’s location and sampling wines.
